Brighten your spirits by attending our spring concert as the Easton Choral Arts Society takes you back to the grand and glorious opera scene with a thrilling selection of famous choruses and arias that will keep you humming for days. There is nothing as stirring as the sound of a full opera chorus, and this concert has it all.
Artistic Director, Wes Lockfaw, will lead the choir and guest opera stars Georgiann Gibson, soprano, Ianthe Marini, mezzo-soprano, Joshua Baumgardner, tenor, and Michael Pistorio, baritone, performing favorite choruses and arias from the great operas of Verdi, Rossini, Mozart and perhaps a personal appearance of the Phantom of the Opera. Among the favorites Mr Lockfaw has chosen are Brindisi from La traviata, The BridalChorus from Lohengrin, the Voyagers’ Chorus from Idomeneo, Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Nabucco and Habanera from Carmen.
Plan on attending Saturday evening April 25 or Sunday afternoon April 26 for an unforgettable time with all the grandeur, glamour and glitter that is the hallmark of renowned opera productions. The performances will take place at St Michaels High School on April 25 at 7:30 PM and April 26 at 4:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and $5 for students and can be purchased on our website, eastonchoralarts.org, by phone 410-200-0498, Crackerjacks Store, Grauls Market and from chorus members. Easton Choral Arts Society is supported, in part, by the Maryland State Arts Council and the Talbot County Arts Council.
