Project Rewind- Talbot County: Miles River Bridge. This concrete bridge replaced the old wooden bridge that was built as a toll bridge in 1858! Fact: “History of Talbot County 1661-1861” by Oswald Tilghman. This bridge was replaced by the present bridge in 1984. Does anyone know what work is being done on the Miles River Bridge that has caused its closure?
