Professor Norm Barker will address the Tidewater Camera Club on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 7 PM in the Talbot County Community Center’s Wye Oak Room. His talk is entitled, “Photography in Historic Houses, EverGreen Museum and Library”. Prof. Barker will discuss techniques of both studio and architectural photography used to document the Evergreen Museum and Library, a Baltimore mansion of the 19th Century Gilded Age. The Public is welcome to attend.
Mr. Barker is a Professor of Pathology and Art at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art and holds an M.S. in Education from Johns Hopkins as well as an M.A. from the University of Baltimore in Publications Design. He is a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society and the Biocommunications Association. He has done extensive work photographing historical structures, as well as rare books and medical archives.
