Democrats are looking forward to victory in November! Come together with us on Saturday June 18, at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC) in Grasonville for the Queen Anne’s County Democratic Club 2016 Unity Rally and Eastern Shore BBQ.

Chris Van Hollen, candidate for the U.S. Senate is our featured speaker. Brian Frosh has called Mr. Van Hollen an “extraordinarily gifted and effective legislator… passionate, hardworking, and smart.” We’ll also meet and hear from Joe Werner, candidate for the 1st Congressional District, and Chuck Conner, Executive Director of the Maryland Democratic Party, on bringing the party together for victory in November. Pat Murray, Campaign Manager for Mr. Van Hollen, will add his enthusiastic voice.

A special silent auction will feature theme gift baskets for the garden, pets, pasta, wine, coffee, etc. Bid on your favorites! BBQ lunch, catered by Paul Gunther, begins at noon.

CBEC, located at 600 Discovery Lane, off Perry’s Corner Rd in Grasonville, MD, is unique in Queen Anne’s for wetlands environmental research and habitat restoration. Our event takes place at CBEC’s LEED certified “green living” education building, looking out onto Marshy Creek. If you have not visited before, this is a great opportunity to explore.

Bring your questions and your enthusiasm! Tickets for the Unity Rally can be purchased online at www.qacdems.org or at the event, cash or credit card; adults: $30, kids under 12: free. Donations to support Democratic candidates are always welcome! Check our website, www.qacdems.org, or like us on Facebook.
