Presbyterian Church of Easton presents Thomas Beard in “An American Tapestry” concert on Sunday, October 6th at 2:00pm.
Internationally renowned lyric-dramatic baritone Thomas Beard returns to Easton with his accompanist Mark Conrad to present a program of American composers on Sunday, October 6th at 2:00pm. “An American Tapestry” will feature art songs, jazz and Broadway, as well as Afro-American spirituals. Two highlights will be “The Impossible Dream” and “He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands”. A free-will offering will be received and a reception will follow. Mr. Beard will also be singing during the 10:00am worship service that morning. The Presbyterian Church of Easton is located at 617 North Washington Street. This event is partially sponsored by the Talbot County Arts Council with revenues from Talbot County and the Towns of Easton, Oxford, and St. Michael’s.
