Sat, Feb 8- 7:00 am- Half-day trip
Cambridge waterfront & Blackwater NWR. Another Saturday trip that combines the waterfowl found on both the open waters of the Choptank River with the Blackwater impoundments. Also expect lots of eagles and other raptors as well as a heavy dose of other species.

Mon, Feb 10- Meeting: 7:00 pm, Easton YMCA Multipurpose Room, 202 Peachblossom Road, Easton. Our guest speaker will be Brian Prendergast, Mosquito Control
Program Manager, MD Dept. of Agriculture. Brian’s talk is titled “Protection from Insect-borne Diseases and West Nile Virus Effects on Birds and People”.
The business meeting will follow speaker presentation and Q&As.
Sun, Feb 16- 6:30 am
All-day trip- Ocean City and Environs. Expect lots of sea birds, gulls, waterfowl and field birds on this trip. Leader: Wayne Bell (410 820-6002) – [email protected]
Depart: Easton Acme at 6:30 am OR meet leader at the Ocean City Inlet, south jetty parking lot at 8:00 am. Bring lunch. Soup and warmth will be provided around noon at the leader’s condo apartment on 76th St. overlooking the beach.
Sat, Feb 22- 8:00 am- Half-day trip
This Saturday trip takes us to nearby Pickering Creek Audubon Center. With a diversity of habitat, expect lots of waterfowl, sparrows, and forest birds — and possibly even a Golden Eagle.Leader: Dave Bent (410 822-2113) – [email protected]
