Talbot Schools to Provide Breakfast, Lunch during Shutdown

Talbot County Public Schools will provide breakfast and lunch to students during the two-week school shutdown beginning Monday, March 16.

Drive-by or walk-up meal pickup will be at Easton Middle (at the side cafeteria entrance) and St. Michaels Middle High from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Each child will be provided breakfast and lunch free of charge each day. Children must be between the ages of 2 and 18, but do not have to be eligible for free and reduced-price meals. Adults cannot accept meals on behalf of children.

CarePacks will be at Easton Middle on Fridays to provide weekend meals.

Las Escuelas Públicas del Condado Talbot otorgará desayuno y almuerzo para los estudiantes durante esta dos semanas de clausura, comenzando lunes 16 de Marzo. Pueden llegar por carro o caminar a recoger los alimentos en la parte del costado de la entrada de la cafetería de las Escuela Secundaria Easton (Easton Middle) y en la Escuela Secundaria y Preparatoria St. Micheals de 9:00 AM a 11:00 AM de Lunes a Viernes.

Se le proveerá a cada niño desayuno y almuerzo gratis todos los días. Los niños deben tener entre 2 a 18 años, y no necesariamente deben ser elegibles para recibir alimentos gratis o a precio reducido. Los adultos no pueden aceptar los alimentos por los niños. Los ”Carepacks” estarán a la disposición los Viernes para otorgar alimentos para el fin de semana.
