The Academy Art Museum’s Young Explorers Program is offering an Open House on April 9 at 10 a.m. at the Museum at 106 South Street in Easton. The event is to learn about admission to the fall preschool program and will include a question and answer session with the director.
A preschool program, using curriculum provided by the Smithsonian Institution, Young Explorers puts art and museum objects at the center of a child’s day, encouraging exploration and discovery. As a part of Young Explorers, children will have ongoing opportunities to interact with professional musicians and artists who perform, teach, or exhibit at the Museum. They will learn about the creative process through active participation with these visiting artists.
For additional information, please contact Melanie Young, the Museum’s Early Enrichment Manager, at 410-822-2787 or visit young-explorers.com.
