Adkins Hosts Free-Range Chicken Gardens Talk and Book Signing

Jessi Bloom, author of Free-Range Chicken Gardens: How to Create a Beautiful, Chicken-Friendly Yard, will discuss creating a garden for both your chickens and yourself at Adkins Aroboretum Tuesday, May 15, at 6:30. Bloom is an award-winning landscape designer whose work emphasizes ecological systems, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. She is a certified professional horticulturalist and certified arborist, as well as a longtime chicken owner with a free-ranging flock in her home garden.
