The opening night art exhibit of painting by the late waterman and artist, William E. Cummings will be held November 14, 2015 from 4 – 6:00 pm at Ouvert Gallery, 207 Talbot Street, St. Michael’s.
Tilghman Watermen’s Museum in cooperation with Jennifer Wagner-Campbell of Ouvert Gallery will display twenty limited edition giclee reproductions, which will be available for purchase. Additional paintings, including Cummings self-portrait titled, “The Weary Waterman”, photos and sketches will be displayed. A video of the artist’s life will be shown. Cummings art will be on display at Ouvert Gallery through December 9, 2015.
Tilghman Watermen’s Museum proceeds support educational programs and daily operations of this not for profit Museum dedicated to celebrating the history, traditions, heritage and culture of Tilghman Island.
