The TilghmanWatermen’s Museum will hold its 6th annual fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the Tilghman Island Fire Hall. The first giclée reproduction of a painting by waterman and artist Bill Cummings will be a live auction item. Additional items of note include a 12 foot wooden skiff built by renowned Island boat builder Johnny Kinnamon and a rare BRANT decoy,\ carved by Ira Hudson, Chincoteague, circa 1920-30.
Enjoy a selection of fine wines, beer, sodas along with a raw bar and light fare provided by Island restaurants. Coffee and homemade dessert will also be available.
Other auction offerings include: box seats for an Oriole game with a parking pass; a framed Nancy Hammond 2014 poster; an opportunity to spend an hour with the Knapps Narrows bridge tender; an original painting of your home by award winning artist Sandy Alanko; a plane ride; fishing and crabbing trips; jewelry; and numerous other treasurers.
Chuck Livingston will serve as the auctioneer with Mike Richards as master of ceremony.
