Mary Ekroos will teach a class on “back to basics” painting in September.
The Talbot County Visual Art Center presents a class with well known local artist Mary Ekroos on going back to basics; the basics of how to apply what you see to your canvas, September 19, 20 and 21. Artist attending this work shop will work on the principles of painting, composition, use of color, form and light. Doing this will bring out each artist own distinctive style.
The workshop will be held at the Spitelarie Eststate.
In the morning there will be demonstrations with painting afterwards. Weather allowing, you will be working Plein Air. If not you will be working in studio. Please bring photos of landscapes and marine subjects for the studio work.
