St. Michaels Art League is holding a workshop with Rebecca Tait entitled, “Intensive Color Study in Oil,” Monday through Wednesday, June 11, 12, 13, from 10am – 4:30pm at Christ Church Parish Hall in St. Michaels, MD.

Artist, Rebecca Tait, graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She has been teaching for 29 years in her NJ studio and also teaches at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia. To see some of Rebecca’s work, and for the supply list, please see www.rebeccatait.com.
This class will expose you to color theory. She will guide you to understand the effect of light on the objects’ local color. Warm and cool effects of artificial and natural light will be explored, while maintaining proper values. Her goal is to “see” color and not “think” it. “Painting is the science of seeing the visual truth and passionately turning it into the art of visual poetry.”
