Local author John Reisinger will present excerpts from his latest work of fiction, The Secrets Behind the Structures, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Michaels Library. He will share the bizarre facts about popular travel destinations. The world’s great landmarks and travel destinations have stories to tell and secrets to reveal. Even the most inviting tourist spots have been shaped by geniuses, dictators, politics, upheavals, con men, and just plain weirdness. Your next vacation spot just might have more to it than you realize.
John Reisinger lives in Easton, and is a former Coast Guard officer and a retired engineer. He is the author of a dozen books on historical themes, such as Master Detective, and the Max Hurlock Roaring 20s Mysteries. He has given presentations on various subjects to college classes, civic groups, and the local cable network. John has appeared on a segment of the Travel Channel’s Mysteries at the Museum as well as WJZ-TV and WBOC-TV. For more information call 410 745-5877.
