Maddie Megahan, Marketing and Executive Relations Manager

Ava’s Hospitality Group (AHG) is proud to announce the recent addition to its dynamic team, Madeline “Maddie” Megahan, as their new Marketing & Executive Relations Manager. In this capacity, Megahan is coordinating and enhancing the marketing strategies and positioning efforts for AHG’s three restaurant brands across the Maryland and Delaware markets.

AHG CEO Chris Agharabi expressed excitement about the latest addition stating, “We’re thrilled to have Maddie on the team. Maddie brings a fresh perspective to our restaurant brands, and we look forward to having her refine our image inside the restaurants and out in the local communities we serve.”

Megahan, a St. Michaels, Maryland native and alumna of Sts. Peter and Paul Schools, grew up eating Ava’s pizza and spending special occasions at Theo’s in St. Michaels.

“Joining the AHG team has unlocked a good amount of nostalgia for me having grown up in downtown St. Michaels – the same place AHG planted its roots. After working in several unique facets of both hospitality and marketing over the years, I look forward to bringing a fresh, new perspective to the brand as a whole. And working for someone who values my input and ideas like Chris does, gives me an added layer of motivation.”

Megahan graduated from Towson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication degree, with a focus in Strategic PR & Integrated Communications. Her diverse professional background includes roles in event planning, branding, marketing, and digital design across the hospitality and IT industries. Many may also recognize Megahan from her compelling acting performances with Perfect Storm Productions, where she also serves as the Marketing Manager.

Ava’s Hospitality Group was established in 2008 with the launch of Ava’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar in St. Michaels, Maryland and has grown to include multiple locations, including Ava’s Pizzeria & Wine Bars in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Cambridge, Maryland; Theo’s Steak, Sides & Spirits in Rehoboth Beach and St. Michaels; and Hammy’s Burgers & Shakes in Rehoboth Beach.

AHG prides itself on crafting signature ingredients and dishes – including freshly made mozzarella, dough, sauce, and meatballs – prepared daily by a team of culinary professionals. For more information about Ava’s Hospitality Group, visit www.avashg.com.
