With more than 653 entries, local artists Jill Basham and Nanny Trippe are among the 66 artists selected to exhibit in “American Landscapes: Scenes from the Americas”, a National Juried Exhibition hosted by the Maryland Federation of Art. The juror was Peter Van Dyke, Professor Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
Jill Basham is a contemporary landscape painter residing in Trappe and Nanny Trippe is a Fine Art Photographer from Easton. Both artists are featured at the Trippe-Hilderbrandt Gallery at 23 Harrison Street in historic Easton.
Selected works will be on exhibit at MFA Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis, Maryland. The show dates are August 15-September 14 with an opening reception and awards Sunday August 24 from 3-5.
