Integrace Bayleigh Chase, a continuing care retirement community in Easton, recently donated five large boxes of canned tuna and applesauce to Easton Elementary (EES) Care Packs. EES Care Packs is a local organization that is working to prevent weekend hunger among Easton Elementary’s most economically vulnerable students. Bayleigh Chase collected food donations from residents, their families, colleagues, and other community organizations from the beginning of September through October 7. The program was so successful, that EES Care Packs is now expanding into high schools and starting a collection for St. Michael’s High School and Easton High. Bayleigh Chase plans to continue its support of EES Care Packs with future food drives.

Giving its senior residents this opportunity to support local children in need is just the latest example of how Bayleigh Chase makes intergenerational connections, as well as gives back to the community.
