Bookworms in the St Michaels area can find some great deals at the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Pit Beef and Used Book Sale on Saturday starting at 10 am. And that pit beef is an added enticement.
Sunday, Pegi Young (yes, Neil’s wife) graces the NightCat with an encore performance. Young says of her music, “I think it’s just good solid R&B and rock…” She’s got an all-star band, The Survivors, to back up her not inconsiderable talent, with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Spooner Oldham on keyboards, multi-instrumentalist Larry Cragg, (sax & harmonica), drummer Phil Jones, guitarist Kelvin Holly and Rick Rosas on bass.
