The fleet was blessed on Wednesday at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, with prayers offered by the Reverend Kevin M. Cross, Rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Oxford, MD. Several museum staff members joined in with readings, and a presentation of colors was given by the Easton High Shcool Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Rosemary for remembrance was placed on boats to honor fallen sailors and two naval officers performed the Star Spangled Banner and Taps. Afterwards, museum members and guests enjoyed refreshments in the small boat shed at the Maritime Museum.
