Celebrating a return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Carpe Diem Arts is pleased to join forces again with the Talbot County Senior Center to present the popular free lunchtime concert series at Brookletts Place in Easton (400 Brookletts Ave.)
Performances are scheduled on the Second Tuesdays of the month, April through June.
Mark your calendars for a stellar spring line-up. (See list below.)
The first concert in the Spring 2022 series will feature Ampersand in a concert of Americana roots music. Beth Lawton and Dick Hogle, the core of Ampersand, will be joined by Easton-based musicians Topher Lawton and Dave Moore. From early fiddle tunes to children’s songs of the 19th century, through blues and piano-bench songs of the 1920s, on up to modern folk and newgrass, this group soars with lovely harmonies and a host of traditional instruments including guitar, banjo, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, bouzouki. Friendly and interactive, Ampersand’s performances are welcoming of all ages. –
