On Monday, September 28 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Christ Church in Easton will host a traveling puppet show to kick off its afterschool music program.
The show entitled “Creatures Great and Small” will feature all sorts of marine life including singing fish, a Blues Crab and Farley the Fiddler Crab. Other highlights include “The Three Little Pigs Opera” and a pair of singing dinosaurs.
A musical review, “Creatures Great and Small” is comprised of animal songs written by award-winning author David Messick who has created many touring children’s musicals including “Amazing Adventures of Chessie the Manatee” and “Noah’s Floating Zoo.” David who will be part of the production has many other credits to his name including producing voices and characters for Chuck E. Cheese and development projects for the Disney Channel, FOX TV, and Paramount Pictures.
Following the show, Students ages four to grade six will have the opportunity to register for Connect Kids, the afterschool music program that includes a choir program, a new Orff instrument and percussion curriculum, and seasonal crafts. Also following the show, parents and students are invited to dinner for the whole family.
