Christmas at the Tilghman Watermen’s Museum

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum will host a Christmas Extravaganza where the museum will be turned into a winter wonderland celebrating the wonder of Christmas. This year, the museum will feature unique crèche sets from around the world. These rare manger scenes depicting the birth of Christ bring home the real meaning of Christmas. The popular animated displays with villages and trains have been expanded and are sure to please both young and old. Bring the whole family to view a collection of Santas and Christmas decorations from around the world.

Opening on December 4th, the Christmas Extravaganza collection will be on display the first three weekends in December on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Group tours are available by appointment by calling 410-886-9810. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is in their 14th year of celebrating, documenting, preserving and sharing the history, traditions, heritage and culture of Tilghman Island.
