Community Thanksgiving in St. Michaels A Success

December 1, 2014 by St. Michaels Community Center

Share

St. Michaels celebrated a beautiful community gathering on Wednesday, November 26 at the St. Michaels Community Center when neighbors, local businesses, church friends and volunteers came together to provide over 150 meals, give thanks and enjoy sharing the blessings of the season.

A huge thank you goes out to Ava’s, Marcoritaville, Joe’s Bagel Bakery, Ben Franklin, Graul’s and local individuals that provided so much of the delicious dinner for our guests. Acme in St. Michaels, St. John’s Church and our local 4H group, led by Jan Duley and her children supplied non-perishable food which was collected, bagged and offered to anyone to take home.

Friendship, smiles, good wishes and full tummies were plentiful and lots of Thanks Given!
