Douglas Reedy of Easton recently joined Character Counts Mid Shore (CCMS) as Development Associate where he is responsible for fund raising and grant writing. Mr. Reedy’s experience includes non-profit administration, grant writing, financial reporting and marketing as co-founder of the Trees for Frederick environmental organization. He also brings to CCMS project management and public administration experience gained from his career with Frederick County Government.
Established in 1998, CCMS is a non-profit organization that works to espouse positive character development in every aspect of life. Non-political and non-religious, the organization’s mission is to provide and implement a citizen-driven character enrichment program; based on the Six Pillars of Character – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship; to all citizens in Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline Counties.
