On Friday, October 25, 2013, from 7 to 9 a.m., Easton’s 31th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Tidewater Inn in Easton. This year’s breakfast will feature Chris Jensen, Brad Hill, and Heather Crow as guest speakers.
Since leaving the State’s Attorney’s Office in 2000, where he was recognized for his work in battling domestic violence and fighting the abuse of illegal drugs, Chris Jensen has been involved on a full-time basis in Christ-centered ministries directed at leadership on the local, state, national and international scene. He also works with members of the Maryland General Assembly to organize legislative prayer breakfasts, as well as acting as a volunteer chaplain for the General Assembly.
Brad Hill is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, having more than 17 years’ experience as a financial planner and portfolio manager – named “Top 40 Under 40” by On Wall Street Magazine. He has served on a number of boards including the YMCA of Talbot County (Chair), Talbot County Country Club (Treasurer), Casa of Talbot & Dorchester Counties, The Country School (Treasurer), and the Board of Directors of Araminta Freedom Initiative. He is currently involved in supporting the Eastern Shore Human Trafficking Task Force and One Body Prayer Walk.
Heather Crow is a freelance painter and mixed-media artist who currently teaches watercolor, design and experimental papermaking at the Academy Art Museum in Easton. She previously taught watercolor and art history at Chesapeake College and coordinated children’s programming for the Academy Art Museum before returning to teaching art at St. Michaels High School. Crow has won numerous local and state awards, including the prestigious national Robert Rauschenberg Power of Art Award for the state of Maryland. Heather is a long-time volunteer with Talbot County Young Life, and is well-known in the community for bringing passion to everything she undertakes.
