On Saturday, March 3, from 1 to 3 p.m., Pierre Duc, a sculptor and painter renowned for monumental works in his native Eastern France, will conduct a clay sculpture workshop, “Sculpting Clay Animals,” at the Academy Art Museum in Easton. The free workshop is offered for participants ages 10 and up. There is a minimal charge for firing each sculpture.

Duc, who works in oil, watercolor, and pastel, as well as bronze, is fundamentally interested in human and animal anatomy and with landscapes. His accomplishments include an active exhibition record over the last several decades in France.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. There will be no registration the day of the workshop. To register, contact the Academy Art Museum at 410-822-2787.
