Grand Opening of Talbot County Democratic Party Headquarters

June 16, 2014 by Talbot County Democratic Forum

Share

The Grand Opening of the Talbot Democratic Headquarters will be Saturday, June 21 from 4:00-6:00 PM, just three days before the primary election. The HQ is located at 125 North Washington Street in Easton, just a few steps from the Courthouse, Easton Market, and near the corner of Goldsborough and Washington Streets in the heart of Easton’s historic district.

The Headquarters building, which includes a reception area, two conference rooms and three offices, will be Command Central for Democrats for the 2014 elections on the Eastern Shore. The Talbot County Democratic Forum, the Talbot County Democratic Central Committee, and the Maryland Democratic Party, among others, will be occupying the building. The Headquarters will conduct phone banks, train volunteers, display campaign materials, provide issue information, register voters, conduct committee meetings, and host First Fridays, receptions, and several campaign events.

Attending the Grand Opening will be Democratic Congressional District One candidates John LaFerla and Bill Tilghman, State Senate 37 candidate Chris Robinson, State Delegate 37B candidate Keasha Haythe, Talbot County Council candidate Hilary Spence, and Wendy Frosh, representing her brother Brian Frosh, candidate for Maryland Attorney General, all who have confirmed. There are likely to be several surprises, if past years are any indication.

The Headquarters opened to the public June 23, and will be open in June Monday-Friday from 11-3, after July 4 from 11-5, and after Labor Day through Election Day Monday-Saturday from 11-5
