Through an ongoing partnership between The Gunston School and SAT prep company The Princeton Review, a special 8-week Princeton Review class will be offered at The Gunston School on Sundays in January and February. “We saw the need to condense their 15-week course into fewer weeks for busy families,” explains Gunston’s Director of College Counseling Amy Gross-Kehoe. “We were able to work with The Princeton Review to come up with an 8-week curriculum of their material, taught by their excellent staff.” Designed for students in grades 10-11, the course will be offered on Sundays from January 13th–March 3rd from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Emma Showalter, current Gunston junior who took the August course at Gunston, credits the program with improving her score—”The class helped me so much, my score went up 200 points!” The class is open to the public at the cost of $549 and will be taught by Princeton Review instructors. Gunston began to host classes with The Princeton Review in 2011, and their SAT course is not offered anywhere else on the Eastern Shore.
