Each Londonderry on the Tred Avon department has a commitment to excellence when it comes to the well-being of the campus and most importantly, its residents. The Housekeeping team exemplifies this commitment by dedicating their expertise to making residents feel comfortable and safe within their homes.
LaCree Brown, Londonderry’s Housekeeping Supervisor, describes her team as “exhibiting community pride in every cottage they clean. Just as with the entire Londonderry team, when they see trash or anything out of place, they take care of it. We all work together to keep a beautiful campus.”
Brown explained that excellence to her team means “doing the best job. With the Housekeeping team centered around hospitality, we want residents to feel that we are friendly, generous and like family.”
Living in a clean and welcoming home filled with those you trust is the foundation of a community with such high standards. “Londonderry residents trust our team to take care of them as well as their personal belongings,” says Brown. “We use only the best cleaning products and always confirm with new residents if they have any allergies.”
The team keeps Londonderry in an immaculate and healthy condition by managing all residents’ sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming. They also oversee bathrooms, each surface in their rooms and even offer the washing of sheets and making of beds. Outside the residents’ homes, they are responsible for all common areas, such as the community center, clubhouse and apartment building lobbies and hallways.
“We want everyone who lives, works and visits Londonderry to feel that they are in a place that is safe, healthy and well cared for,” says Brown. “Our team takes pride in providing an exceptional experience.”
With the help of the Housekeeping team, residents don’t have to worry about maintaining their homes, which frees up time to enjoy other beneficial activities within the community that contribute to their wellness. “I love seeing the residents smile as they walk into their homes after we’ve cleaned,” says Brown. “That is one of the best feelings.”
