On February 3 at 6 p.m., the Academy Art Museum in Easton will present a book talk by Ron Liebman about his new novel, “Big Law.” Liebman lives in Easton and Washington, DC. He is the author of four novels and is the editor of the non-fiction “Shark Tales—True and Amazing Stories from America’s Lawyers.” Publisher’s Weekly calls his newest book “compelling.”
Liebman has been a law clerk to a federal judge, an assistant United States Attorney, partner in a boutique litigation law firm and a senior partner in one of America’s top law firms. With his legal experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, he likes to say he’s seen it all. His writing has managed to capture the intrigue, hard work, thrill, and humor of it all in his writing.
From New York Times best-selling author John Lescroart: “’Big Law’ has it all. A locomotive drive, a fantastic, appealing, big-hearted narrative voice, and an inside and very entertaining look at the intersection of big law and big business. Smart and truly unputdownable.”
The talk is free. For further information, contact Academy Art Museum at 410-822-2787 or visit academyartmuseum.org.
Harold Weiner says
Having read the highly entertaining “Big Law” the one thing missing from your story is how funny the book is. That, combined with the thriller aspect, makes it a great read on a gloomy winter day.
Cheers,
Hal Weiner
