Mid-Shore Community Band to Perform at 45th Annual Waterfowl Festival

November 7, 2015 by Mid-Shore Community Band

Share

The Mid-Shore Community Band will be performing at the 45th annual Waterfowl Festival at 2pm on November 14, 2015. The concert will be held at Thompson Park in downtown Easton, MD.

This is the seventh season for the band, which was founded in 2009 by its current director, Matt Fullerton. The band is comprised of volunteer musicians from the area that perform around the mid-shore area. One such volunteer, Tracie Thomas, has not only dedicated herself to countless hours with the Mid-Shore Community Band, but has also worked tirelessly each year to contribute to the Waterfowl Festival itself.

The band’s upcoming performance will include selections from West Side Story, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and the hit animated movie the Incredibles. The MSCB will also perform popular patriotic pieces and other crowd pleasers.

This concert is free and open to the public, with donations graciously accepted. The members of the Mid-Shore Community Band look forward to this lively concert each year and encourage all to attend and enjoy a festival full of music, fun, food, and activities.
