Six teams of 5th graders from all of the TCPS Elementary Schools will test their knowledge and skills, answering questions from a broad range of categories. Each team also includes a celebrity guest from the sponsoring organization or school community. Morgan Stanley will sponsor the team from Chapel District Elementary School, and Mr. Curry Wilford, Financial Advisor, will participate as the team’s celebrity guest.
To date, the Education Foundation has awarded more than $33,000 in grants for programs for elementary, middle and high school students in a variety of disciplines. “At Morgan Stanley we believe in the importance of investing in our community’s most valuable resource, our children,” said Mr. Wilford. “We are very pleased to support the Education Foundation’s Grants for Teachers program by sponsoring this event.”
