Oh gosh – what a great discourse. I am sad that this discussion of health care is seemingly propelled by people who have idea no of reality. Actually, getting older sneaks up on you – not all catastrophes – many “nickel and dime” ways to go broke. Do you want to HEAR things, you rabid Led Zep or Jay Z fans? – hearing-aids often cost more than $5000. Did you know that? Oh yeah, SEEing (with your EYES, seeing) ??? Less money out of pocket, but IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU, so budget a few hundred EACH YEAR to just maintain! How about EATING – ooo, is that important to you? Hmm, your dentist will be helping you do that just about every 6 – 12 months, depending on your chromosomes, and you can budget at least 500 – 1K per year, so, ca-ching, again. Acid tummy, sleepless, tennis-knee, ?? Oh yeah, another few coins in the bucket.
If you say, “Oh man, die old lady,” (frequently heard), I would only ask one thing of you. Save your comments in the cloud to be accessible to YOU on your 60th b’day – if you make it. And get ready to be Soylent Green, ’cause you are IT. Menwhile, ‘ya gotta pay. We did!
