Bill Acosta, owner of Olivins in St. Michaels, along with Randy Schiera of Mike & Eric’s Front Street Restaurant & Bar, also in St. Michaels, will provide guests of the Soroptimist International of Talbot County Girls’ Night Out with a live demonstration and tastings of holiday recipes featuring products sold by Olivins. Items available for purchase in Olivins storefront, and also online, include aged and infused fine olive oils and vinegars along with coffees, teas, organic jams, honeys, maple syrup and chocolates. Olivins will also have a table display where participants may purchase items.
The event is scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Milestone Reception Hall in Easton, doors open at 5:15 pm. The theme for this year’s event is “Merry Mistletoe”, setting the tone for an evening of holiday spirit, shopping and fellowship. To purchase a ticket, please call 410-200-4261.
Attendees are treated to a served dinner, may bid on over 50 silent auction items and will have the opportunity to create a take-home craft. Guests are asked to bring their Christmas lists and shop with the local artisan vendors in attendance. In addition to Olivins, Chesapeake Soaps, Classy Yarns, Heidi Wetzel Woven Sculptures & Baskets, Hilary Brum Pottery, Joan’s Gems, KMC Creations, Bella Villa Candles, Peach, Pecan Yummies, Traci Lynn Jewelry, Triple Creek Winery, Barbed Wire Jewelry, and Seaglass Jewelry by Lambert will have displays. The infamous 50/50 bead raffle completes the evening’s lineup. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Girls’ Night Out support SITC’s signature project—Partners In Care–and other “Best for Women” projects.
