Open Invitation to the Community: Attend the October 17th meeting of the St. Michaels Art League from 9 am to noon.
Join this wonderful group of artists and artisans as they share their original artwork, in process or recently completed, to be informally critiqued by fellow members during the social time. Learn about the myriad exhibitions, classes, art experiences and events sponsored by the Art League for members as well as both adults and children in the community. Watch and listen to a demonstration by noted award-winning regional artist, Rita Curtis, as she shows how to place the figure in a landscape oil painting. Explore the various ways to become involved by visiting each of the committee tables.
The meeting will be held at the Academy Art Museum in Easton as part of its Artober celebration. Refreshments will be served.
The St. Michaels Art League is a leading non-juried arts organization on the Mid-Shore passionate about the expression of art, and is funded, in part, by the Talbot County Arts Council with revenues provided by the Maryland State Arts Council Membership is open to all interested in the arts.
