March 20, 2025, 5:30pm – Local Author Series with Author Maggie Andersen
The Oxford Library and the Oxford Community Center present the first in a series of local author presentations. Andersen will discuss ‘Bridging Difference: Learning from the Lives of Others’ and her latest book, ‘Moving from the Margins: Life Histories on Transforming the Study of Racism’. Andersen will present autobiographical narratives by thirteen accomplished sociologists, including herself, who grew up in different racial, ethnic, gender, and social class backgrounds. Moderated by Val Cavalheri and FREE.
