Recent Thank You Oxford Event

June 29, 2019 by Spy Desk

Share

On Monday, June 17th, The Church of the Holy Trinity, Oxford hosted the 4th annual Thank You Oxford event.  This year Holy Trinity was transformed into Oxford-ritaville with parrots, pink flamingoes, tropical apparel everywhere!  Spark in da Pan provided energizing Caribbean steel drum music that had people up dancing throughout the evening.  The menu of Butch Frase’s roast pig, chicken, and  Cheeseburgers in Paradise, Doc’s Trinidadian chicken wings, countless delicious sides and desserts, topped off by the tropical flavors of Highland Creamery ice cream kept all the Parrott heads happy and satisfied.  A marvelous time was had by all.  This event is held each year by Holy Trinity to honor and thank all of the volunteers and town workers who help make Oxford a “little piece of heaven.”
