The Upper Shore Regional Council (USRC), a regional planning and development and organization for Cecil, Kent, and Queen Anne’s Counties, has chosen it’s Executive Board officers for calendar year 2014. They are David L. Dunmyer, Queen Anne’s County Commissioner, Board Chair; Diana Broomell, Cecil County Councilwoman, 1st Ronald Fithian, Pres. Kent County Commissioners, 2 County Commissioner, Treasurer. Senator Stephen J. Hershey represents the Maryland General Assembly on the Executive Board for the region. Other full Council voting members include certain county commissioners, leadership from local municipalities in the region and the remainder of the Upper Shore Delegation, Delegates Michael Smigiel, Jay Jacobs and Steven Arentz.
The Council will hold its first Executive Committee meeting of the year on Thursday, January 30, 2014, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Council offices (122 Cross Street, Chestertown, MD). The first full Council meeting of the year is being planned for Thursday, March 20, 2014.
