The University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently recognized Terri Fisher, respiratory care practitioner in the Pulmonary Function Lab at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, as an Everyday Hero. Fisher was nominated by a former patient for her professionalism and patience during the pulmonary function testing experience.
Present for the Everyday Hero recognition were (from left to right) Terri Fisher, nominee; F. Graham Lee, vice president for philanthropy, University of Maryland Shore Regional Health; and Steve Eisemann, manager, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services, UM Shore Regional Health.
The Everyday Hero Program provides patients and their family members an opportunity to thank a University of Maryland Shore Regional Health physician, employee or volunteer by making a financial donation to the UM Memorial Hospital Foundation in their name. The UM Memorial Hospital Foundation uses these donations to support UM Shore Regional Health in continuing its mission of delivering exceptional care, every day. For more information about recognizing an Everyday Hero, contact the UM Memorial Hospital Foundation at 410-822-1000, ext. 5481.
