The St Michaels Saints Varsity baseball team beat their cross county rivals, Easton Warriors on Tuesday April 17 in Easton. The final score was 13 to 2 in five innings.
The St Michaels Saints, Junior Varsity baseball team beat the Warriors JV Team 16 to 7 in a home match on the same afternoon.
In the varsity game, Zach Correa was the winning pitcher and managed seven strike-outs to ice his victory. Chris Bramble had three hits, Bobby Schultz had two hits (both doubles), Zach Howeth earned a single and a double and Zach Correa aided his pitching effort with three RBI’s.
In the JV Game the Saints were losing seven to three through the third inning then surged ahead of the Warriors to take the lead and never looked back.
The next home game for the varsity is Thursday April 19, against Cambridge South Dorchester. The start time at Baines field is 4 PM.
