The St Michaels Saints varsity baseball team beat the Colonels from Colonel Richardson High School on Monday night. The final score was nine to two and leaves St Michaels in second place in the bayside standings.
Bobby Schultz pitched a full game with one earned run and four strike outs. The offensive power of the Saints was evident with four starters registering multiple hits and one player, Brooks Harrison, adding three RBI’s and never got a hit.
Chance Crissinger earned two hits and three RBI’s. Zach Howeth and Zach Correa each had two hits and Wyatt Watts got three hits.
The next game is this Thursday at Baines Field. Start time is 4PM. This is the last game of the season and the seniors will be honored as well.
As soon as I have the playoff schedule I will announce it. Plan on coming out to Baines Field in downtown St Michaels to root, root. root for the home team.
SEE YOU THERE! GO SAINTS!
