Save the Date: Christmas with Mrs. Claus, Dec. 12

November 22, 2014 by Talbot County Free Library

Share

We hear so much about Santa Claus at this time of year (and for good reason!), but not so much about his wife and helpmate, Mrs. Claus. Here to give you “the skinny” on Mrs. Claus is Easton’s own, Maureen Curtin, singer, actress and comedian.

We’ll celebrate the season (and Mrs. Claus!) with songs, monologues and laughter!

Maureen has appeared in numerous musicals and plays with Tred Avon Players, St. Michael’s Community Center, Heart & Music, and the Avalon Theatre.  She has performed her shows, Mimosas With Maureen and Mistletoe With Maureen, in the Stoltz Listening Room at the Avalon Theatre. You may have seen Stairway To Heaven, a musical Maureen wrote and directed at the Dorchester Center for the Arts being aired on Easton’s MCTV.

Maureen is the music director at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton and is the current President of the Tred Avon Players Board of Directors.

Guests are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy coffee and sweets provided by the Friends of the Library, at 12 noon on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Reservations are not required. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Talbot County Free Library.
