Lynn Randle

Join Chesapeake Forum for Books with Friends, a monthly exploration of a favorite book.  There is no fee required, just the love of good a story and a lively discussion.  Share your fiction or non-fiction favorites among a kindred group of readers.

For the first session on Thursday, April 20th, discussion leader Lynn Randle opens with the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Horse: A Novel, by Geraldine Brooks.  Randle says there will be lots to talk about as there are many threads to this deeply complex book about a horse and its groom.  Come prepared to share your thoughts.

Books with Friends will start with two sessions on Thursday, April 20th and Thursday May 25th.  Participants will decide whether to continue and what books to read.  Horse: A Novel is the subject of the first session on Thursday, April 20th from 1-2:30 PM.  The next book will be chosen at the first session and discussed on Thursday, May 25th from 1-2:30 PM.  ZOOM only.  This course is free but donations are gratefully accepted.  To register, visit https://chesapeakeforum.org

Chesapeake Forum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing lifelong learning opportunities to residents of the Eastern Shore.  To receive Chesapeake Forum’s newsletter, please send your name and address to [email protected].
