From the desk of the Talbot County Sheriff:
St Michaels – On August 26, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 900 block of Calvert Street for a malicious destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed someone spray painted a motor vehicle with white paint. Further investigation uncovered additional paint damage on Monroe Street and Tyler Avenue. Cordova – On August 29, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a threat made against students on a Talbot County School bus while in transport. Two victims were identified who reported a 16 year old male on the bus had made verbal threats towards them. The victims reported the juvenile stated he would get a gun and shoot them up. The juvenile was charged with threatening a student with bodily harm on a school bus. The juvenile was referred to juvenile services and released to the custody of his mother.
Easton – On September 1, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 27000 block of Rest Circle for a fireworks complaint. Responding Deputies observed fireworks at an address and upon contact with the homeowner, Andrew David Hess, 47 of Easton, MD illegal fireworks were discovered. Hess was issued a criminal citation charging him with discharge fireworks without the required permit. Hess was released upon his signature on the citation.
