St Michaels – On May 6, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by St Michaels Police Department in reference to a residential burglary which occurred outside of the town limits. Information was received that two males had entered an unoccupied residence and stolen appliances. St Michaels PD located a suspect vehicle and located the stolen items in the bed of the pickup truck. Responding Deputies identified Timothy Wayne Kilmon, 49 and Michael Lee Kilmon, 54 both of St Michaels, MD as the owner/operator of the vehicle. Timothy and Michael Kilmon admitted taking the appliances from the victim’s residence without permission. Timothy and Michael Kilmon were arrested and charged with burglary in the second degree, burglary in the fourth degree and theft under $1,000.00. Both suspects were released without bond by a District Court Commissioner.
Easton – On May 6, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6000 block of Waterloo Drive for a burglary. Investigation revealed at approximately noon, the homeowner arrived at the residence to discover a white pickup truck in the driveway. The homeowner described the truck as white, two door with old imprints of decals on the sides with a silver antenna on the roof. The homeowner advised a white male, approximately sixty years old, tan with an unshaven face appeared from the side of her residence and advised he was there to check the meter. The white male was further described as being approximately 5’08” with a medium build, wearing a brown jacket, dark khaki pants and a white baseball cap. The homeowner later realized that the white male entered her residence and stole property valued at over $10,000.00. Easton – On May 7, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8000 block of Ingleton Road for a domestic assault. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted Brent Michael Truchot of that address who advised after arguing with his wife, Kendra Lynn Truchot, 42 of Easton, MD, she scratched and bit him causing injuries. The Deputies observed marks on the victim consistent with the assault and arrested Kendra Truchot for assault. Kendra Truchot was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and then taken before a District Court Commissioner who released her on her personal recognizance. Brent Turchot did not require medical assistance for his injuries.
Easton – On May 7, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served a peace order on Charles Adler III, 41 of Oxford, MD ordering him to have no contact with Charles Swift Wrightson of Easton, MD. Shortly after service by the Deputies, Adler contacted Wrightson by telephone. Adler was located and arrested for violating the terms of the peace order. Adler was processed and taken to the District Court Commissioner who released him on personal recognizance.

As I have stated before: We have all these incidents where people rob, hurt and/or threaten others. A Peace Order is just a piece of paper. It DOES NOT stop someone form harming you! I know this from personal experience.
When will the Talbot County Commissioners and Judges do their jobs and lock up the criminals? It seem only the criminals have rights these days….
