Easton – On October 2, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on St Michaels Road near the Easton Bypass for exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon contact with the operator, Richard Wallace Hill, 52 of Rock Hall, MD, the Deputy noted an odor of marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was completed and an amount of marijuana and paraphernalia were located hidden in a coffee cup. The marijuana was seized and Hill was placed under arrest. Hill was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Hill was released upon his signature on a criminal citation.
Easton – On October 6, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle traveling on St Michaels Road towards Easton that was swerving on the roadway. The Deputy stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator, identified as Michael Lance Dillon, 27 of Easton, MD. Upon contact with the operator, the Deputy detected an odor of alcohol and arrested Dillon for driving while intoxicated. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed an amount of marijuana, paraphernalia and a grinder. Dillon was issued criminal citations for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and after processing was released to a licensed driver.
Easton – On October 6, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery for an alarm. The responding Deputy located an individual on the property who claimed to be working on the property. After speaking with the alarm responder it was determined the individual was not employed to be working on the property. The Deputy located and identified the individual as Andrew Glenn Garber, 36 of Easton, MD. It was determined Garber was on the property illegally and attempted to break in to the garage and steal property. Garber was placed under arrest and charged with burglary in the 2nddegree, burglary in the 4th degree and malicious destruction of property. Garber was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on a $5,000.00 unsecured bond.
