It began with an intercept. Jordan Lloyd, chef and general manager at the Robert Morris Inn, would receive 60 Lamborghinis and their drivers on a Saturday morning. Oxford was a stop along a drive from Fort Meade to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge.
A crowd grew outside the Robert Morris around 11:00 AM. The 60-vehicle motorcade garnered little attention while passing through Easton, but the crowd was in no way disappointed by a short delay as the first of the Lamborghinis came into view.
During the visit, the event organizer, Paulo doCouto, would explain that among those on the tour was Lamborghini “Ambassador “ Valentino Balboni who was celebrating his 75th birthday. He had flown over from Italy for the festivities. For almost 40 years, Balboni was Lamborghini’s chief test driver.
While they stayed less than an hour, the cheerful visitors provided all in attendance a wonderful show filled with the sights and sounds only possible with a Lamborghini.

Bishop Joel Marcus Johnson says
Here in Easton, mail carriers on our north side drive mere plebian Mercedes Benz; whereas I mentioned to my carrier recently my suspicion that south town deliveries were from Lamborghinis. I was proved wrong. Here we see veiled evidence the US Mails are being delivered via Lamborghinis in the British Colonial original Port of Entry, Oxford MD, in our own Talbot County. Calls for a revolution!
