The St. Michaels Art League will be holding its annual Art Show and Sale this Labor Day weekend on Saturday, August 30, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 31, from 12:30 until 5 p.m. the show is held “under the tent” on the lawn of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Talbot Street, St. Michaels, and is free and open to the public. Participating artists will be at the show throughout the weekend to discuss their art.
The Art League is comprised of over 100 members and this show gives visitors the opportunity to see a diverse collection of original artwork in oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography and three dimensional arts. In addition, original banners that have hung along the streets of St. Michaels will be available for sale, as well as the original artwork that was used to create the banners. Art students from the St. Michaels High School also have been invited to display their works.
