With deep regret, The Board of Directors of the St. Michaels Museum has decided to cancel our Annual July 4th celebration for 2020. We traditionally see crowds of 250 or more at our Children’s Parade and formal program. With this crowd size, we do not feel we can safely maintain correct social distancing to keep our attendees and museum personnel safe.
Additionally, as we do not plan to open the museum or begin walking tours until it is determined to be safe for both our staff and visitors, it is unlikely that we will be able to open the museum to the public this year.
To see updated information about possible museum opening, our popular walking tours and other museum activities visit our website, www.stmichaelsmuseum.org. Our website will feature our new addition with a virtual tour when construction is finished.
