The SMPD S.M.Y.L.E. (St. Michaels Youth and Law Enforcement) program provides a much-needed community service mentoring local area children on drug & alcohol abuse prevention. Junior Police Academy cadets are mentored by St. Michaels Chief Anthony Smith and his officers. Participation includes afterschool activities like visits to the police department, fire department and airport.

The Bryan Brothers “Building Dreams for Youth” Foundation’s mission is to help ensure that all children on the Mid-Shore have the opportunity to experience personal growth through participation in youth sports, recreation and development programs. Since its inception in 2003, the Bryan Brothers Foundation has provided over $1,100,000 in grants to support Shore Kids. The Foundation provides donors with the opportunity to support a broad range of worthwhile youth programs with their contributions.
